Terms of Service

1. About Utubetalk

Utubetalk ("we", "us", "the Service") provides full transcripts of publicly available YouTube videos via a Telegram bot at t.me/UTUBETALKBOT and a personal library at utubetalk.com/my. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be 14 years or older to use Utubetalk. Your Telegram account ID is your identifier; we do not require a separate signup. You are responsible for all activity under your Telegram ID.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Basic plan: ₩5,000 per month, recurring.
  • Pro plan: ₩17,000 per month, recurring.
  • Billing is handled by PayPal. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from utubetalk.com/my or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to redistribute transcripts you do not own at commercial scale.
  • Automate the Service beyond personal use (no bulk scraping via the bot).
  • Use the Service to violate any law, including copyright law in your jurisdiction.
  • Interfere with our infrastructure or attempt to bypass rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts violating this section without refund.

5. Content Ownership

YouTube videos and their transcripts remain the property of their respective creators and YouTube, LLC. We extract publicly available transcript data for your personal use. We claim no ownership over video content. Personal notes and library organization you create are yours.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, YouTube API changes, or third-party outages may affect availability. We are not liable for transcript accuracy when YouTube's auto-generated captions are the source.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three (3) months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.
